Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the loan signing of striker, Carlos Vinicius from Portuguese Premier Liga outfit, Benfica.
The 25-year-old heads into N17 on a season-long deal with an option to buy. The player joint-topped the goalscoring charts in Portugal, hitting eighteen league goals and twenty-four in all competitions helping his parent club to runner-up spot during the last campaign.
Brazilian-born Vinicius started his career in his native country with Caldense and Gremio Anapolis, this after playing youth football at Goias, Santos, Desportivo Brasil and Palmeiras.
A successful switch to LigaPro side Real Sporte Club in Portugal was followed by a move to Napoli in early 2018. However, he was subsequently loaned to Rio Ave and Monaco before joining Benfica in the summer of 2019.
