Tottenham Hotspur’s troubled campaign took another twist as they were beaten by Slovenian minnows, NS Mura in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Lilywhite were stunned by Tommy Horvat’s early opener. And the North Londoners evening deteriorated further when Ryan Sessegnon received his marching orders just after the half-hour mark.

Harry Kane levelled the score eighteen minutes from time, but the ten men slipped to an embarrassing defeat when Amadej Marosa netted deep into stoppage-time.

Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action on Sunday, November 28 when they face Burnley at Turf Moor (2pm).
