Charlie Stack hit an unbeaten half-century, helping Essex Kestrals towards a sizable Super9s victory over their Middlesex counterparts at Harlow Town Cricket Club.

Stack, returning to cricket following a lengthy break, was not out on 53 as the home side posted 129 for nine.

And that proved amply sufficient as the potent Essex attack took control. Oliver Kenedy returned superb figures of 3/7, while Harry Willis and Brad Barker took two apiece as the visitors were dismissed for 22.
