Strong Spurs to hot for U’s

Colchester United – Tottenham Hotspur – Friendly Match – JobServe Community Stadium – Report

Colchester United 0-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Nuno Espirito Santo brought a strong Tottenham Hotspur side to the JobServe Community Stadium and oversaw a comfortable 3-0 victory for his North London charges.

Heung-Min Son opened the scoring after Steven Bergwijn had unselfishly created the opening. Then Lucas Moura nodded a swift second following a flag-kick from the right.

Dele Ali was on hand to profit from Son’s toil to add a third before the interval.

Colchester had their moment, with Frank Nouble and Alan Judge going close.

Colchester United return to action on Saturday, July 24 when Gillingham visit the JobServe Community Stadium (3pm).
