The Sunrisers Rachel Heyhoe Flint Trophy debut ended in defeat at the Southern Vipers eased to a seven-wicket success at The Cloudfm County Ground, Chelmsford.
Mady Villiers impressed with the bat for the home side, hitting 64 off 83 balls, while Naomi Dattani chipped in with 42 before the Sunrisers were dismissed for 202 – Paige Scholfield the pick of the Vipers attack with 3/33.
The visitors made short work of the chase, reaching their target inside 37 overs. Danni Wyatt led the way with 66. Charlie Dean (27*) and Paige Scholfield (23*) carried the Vipers over the finish line with some to spare.
