Police have charged a teenager in connection with the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Hutton yesterday, Sunday March 21.
The victim sustained a serious injury to his upper arm during the incident in Roundwood Avenue, at about 4.30pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and his condition is no longer being treated as life-threatening.
A 15-year-old boy from Wickford has been charged with GBH with intent, assault by beating and possession of a knife.
He is due to appear in Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday).
