Teenager charged after drugs warrant in Grays

A teenager has been charged with multiple drugs offences after a warrant was executed in Grays.

Officers from the Operational support Group and Raptor Serious Violence Unit carried out the warrant in Argent Street on Tuesday February 20 and arrested a 17-year-old at the address on suspicion of multiple drugs offences, as well as burglary and sending malicious communications.

What appeared to be Class A and and Class B drugs, and several weapons, were found at the address.

The teenager has been charged with one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

They appeared at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates’ Court this morning, Wednesday February 21, and were remanded in custody pending a future court date.
