Teenager critical after stabbing in Barking

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a stabbing in Barking.

An investigation was launched after police were called to reports of a man having been assaulted in Hulse Avenue at approximately 3.45pm on Friday, March 12.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 16-year-old teenager with stab injuries.

He was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Detectives are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area around the time of the incident, or any road users who may have dashcam footage that could assist the investigation, to contact police.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday, March 13 on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
