Two 17-year-olds appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today to answer charges of GBH with intent in connection with a disturbance at an address in Kursaal Way, Southend, on Tuesday December 28 where the victim sustained stab wounds.
The first teenager was charged with GBH with intent and possession of knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.
The second was charged with GBH with intent in connection with the incident, and possession of knife blade in a public place/ He was further charged with GBH with intent in connection with an assault that occurred on Southchurch Road, Southend, on Sunday December 19 where the victim sustained a fractured jaw.
Both boys will next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on January 7.
