Ten-man O’s make their point

Crawley Town 0-0 Leyton Orient

Resolute Leyton Orient held firm for more than an hour to earn a share of the Sky Bet League Two spoils at Crawley Town.

Hector Kyprianou was shown a straight red card after half an hour following a crude challenge on Jake Hessenthaler. However, the O’s had already ridden their luck as early as the third minute when Tom Nichols smashed a spot-kick against the bar after Jack Powell had been felled by Craig Clay.

But that aside, Orient looked the more likely side with their former keeper, Glenn Morris, denying Connor Wilkinson, Clay and Nick Freeman.
