Three arrested after man and woman injured in Brentwood

Three people have been arrested following an incident in Brentwood.

Police received reports of a disturbance in Queens Road shortly before 1.30pm today (Sunday October 16).

It was reported a man had been assaulted and a woman had been in collision with a car.

The woman sustained a serious leg injury while the man was left with less serious injuries.

At this stage police believe this was a targeted incident and three men have been arrested.

A 55 year-old man from Dagenham has been arrested on suspicion of affray, a 19 year-old from Brentwood and a 28 year-old from Edmonton have both been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
