Three charged after man injured in Southend

Three people arrested in connection with a serious assault in Southend have now been charged.

A man was found with a serious arm injury in Chichester Road at around 4.15pm on Wednesday April 4.

Three people – an 18 year-old man and two boys aged 17 and 15 – were arrested.

They have now been charged

Oliver Stepney, 18, of High Road, Rayleigh, and the 15 year-old boy have been charged with GBH with intent and possession of a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place.

The 17 year-old boy has been charged with the GBH with intent.

They appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on April 8.

They have been remanded in custody and are next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on May 6.
