Transfer deadline day – Tottenham Hotspur

Premier League clubs have until October 5 to complete transfer business, An additional domestic window between the Premier League and EFL runs from October 5/16.

Tottenham did the majority of their business long before the window closed.

It could be argued that the Lilywhites strengthened more than any other Premier League club with Gareth Bale returning on loan as well as another Real Madrid man, the left-sided defender Sergio Reguilon.

Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have added much-needed balance and steel, while the acquisition of Carlos Vinicius from Benfica will take some of the goalscoring pressure off the shoulders of Harry Kane.
