Transfer deadline day – West Ham United

Premier League clubs have until October 5 to complete transfer business, An additional domestic window between the Premier League and EFL runs from October 5/16.

The permanent signing of Tomas Soucek along with his Slavia Prague teammate, Vladimir Coufal, was the extent of the Hammers business.

David Moyes has a strong starting group but with a number of players heading away from the London Stadium, including highly-rated trio Grady Diangana, Josh Cullen and Xande Silva, strength in depth could be an issue.

A late bid to loan Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea broke down right on the deadline. That will be a blow to Moyes as he attempts to reshape the squad following last seasons relegation battle.
