Two arrested and items seized following aggravated burglary in Grays

Two people have been arrested and stolen goods worth £1,000 recovered as part of a burglary investigation.

Police were alerted to an aggravated burglary in Boxton Road, Grays, at about 9.30am on Thursday February 15.

A group of armed people held a victim at knifepoint and assaulted them. They left with a Canada Goose coat and a TV.

Acting on intelligence gathered by investigative officers in Grays, officers from the Operational Support Group and firearms officers attended an address in Grays on Saturday February 17.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Items of interest were also seized and a white Land Rover has been forensically recovered for examination.
