Two men have pleaded guilty to arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered following deliberately setting a fire in South Weald.
Brandon Olley, 22, of Harrow Crescent, Romford, entered the plea at Basildon Crown Court today, Monday September 9.
His co-defendant, 28-year-old Bradley Wright of Bromley Road, Ardleigh, pleaded guilty to the same charge last week.
The pair had also pleaded guilty to one count of arson at the same address, which took place on Weald Road on February 5 this year.
Wright had previously pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving stolen goods, the car he drove in to commit the offences in Brentwood between January 30 and February 16 and dangerous driving on the A12 and A120 in Colchester on February 15.
Both men will return to the court on 18 November for sentencing.
