On Sunday February 19, Subbuteo table football players from across the country will be heading to Southend to play at the Subbuteo Collector Open presented by RAS (Rochford and Southend) Causal Subbuteo Club and played under the World Amateur Subbuteo Players Association (WASPA) umbrella.

The tournament counts to WASPA ranking points of which the host club RAS Casual Subbuteo Club currently sits second in the developmental league.

RAS normally plays fortnightly at The Oakwood pub in Eastwood and due to size, this event will be held at Eastwood Community Centre from 9:30am with group stages followed by a knockout tournament to determine the winner at around 5:30pm.

With the Subbuteo World Cup coming to England in 2024 this tournament will see the top players in England begin their preparations for world glory.
