Detectives are no longer treating the death of a woman in Dewsgreen, Vange, as murder.
Officers were called to concerns for the welfare of the woman shortly after 6.40am yesterday morning, Thursday November 4.
Initially, her death was treated suspicious, and a man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
A forensic post-mortem examination has been carried out this morning, the results of which confirm there was no third-party involvement in her death.
An investigation is therefore being finalised and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The 47-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge and will face no further action.
