Mikel Arteta was fully aware of the threat UEFA Europa League Round of Thirty-Two opponents, Olympiacos possess ahead of the Gunners first-leg tie at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.

The Greek outfit has faced Arsenal no less than eight times in competitive European football, with honours even at four wins apiece, and Arteta clearly believed the host’s had all the attributes to cause his side a few problems.

“Collectively they seem very alive with a clear idea of what they what to do,” the Spaniard explained. 

They don’t play in relation to the opponent That’s what I like the most.”

The Gunners chief is expected to turn to one or two of his younger players for the tie: “It’s part of the process, you don’t know until you expose them. I want to see courage in all my players,” he added.
