VIDEO: Daryl McMahon faced the media after Dagenham & Redbridge slipped to a 2-1 defeat to AFC Fylde

Courtesy of Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club and Daggers TV – Manger, Daryl McMahon spoke after a late headed goal from Alex Whitmore handed AFC Fylde all three Vanarama National League points at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Following a goalless opening period, the Coasters snatched an advantage three minutes after the restart through Tom Walker. However, the Daggers looked like they had salvaged a share of the spoils when Mitch Brundle scored for the second successive game to level ten minutes from time.

But McMahon nad his side was to be frustrated deep into stoppage time when Whitmore nodded a vital winner for the visitors, keeping Dagenham in the thick of a relegation battle while giving themselves half a chance of avoiding the drop.
