Arteta will be keen to see a response from his side following their UEFA Europa League exit. The North Londoners have a historic bond with the world’s oldest knockout cup competition: “It’s really special,” the Spaniard explained.
“It’s probably one of the nicest games of the season when you play the final day. In England at Wembley, nice weather, an incredible atmosphere and it’s a trophy that we very much link with our history.
“We want to continue to be attached to that knowing that on Monday night, at Portsmouth, it will be tough.”
