Wanstead & Snaresbrook head into the final week of the season maintaining a single point Gooch Division advantage over Brentwood after comfortably beating Buckhurst Hill at Overton Drive.

Half-centuries from skipper, Joe Ellis-Grewal, and Eshun Kalley helped the home side to 207/5 – Saihaj Jaspal and Prithviraj Sarvaiya each taking two wickets for Buckhurst Hill.

The Wanstead attack made swift inroads into the visitors batting order, with Eshun Kalley leading the way with 3/29 and Jahansher Akbar, Kishen Velani and Zain Shahzad snaffling two each to confirm a comfortable success.
