“Were really pleased as a whole group to lock in two positive outcomes,” Ward enthused.
Old Priorian worked hard but I felt we controlled the controllable well and scored some excellent tries. We, as a whole group, needed to step up again and back up last week’s successes and we’ve done that.”
Ward added: “We had a lot of guys unavailable this week, so once again we’ve demonstrated quality in depth. The Priors have continued by surpassing 50 against Brentwood and starting their league campaign in a positive manner.
“It’s a pleasing start, but it’s only a start, there are 23 more rounds of tough rugby. Well enjoy tonight and get back on track Tuesday ahead of a tough test at Eton Manor.”
