Watson back with Bridge after injury hell

COMBATIVE Central midfielder Lewis Watson has returned to Hullbridge Sports following a lengthy spell out of the game through injury.

Watson has put pen to paper following two years on the sidelines due to a serious knee injury. However, having made a full recovery, the player expressed his delight at returning to the Lower Road outfit.

“I’ve been given a great opportunity at a club with big ambitions,” Watson enthused.

And boss, Darren Manning, was equally pleased to see the players back in the game, adding: “I’m delighted this lad is back playing. It’s been a long couple of years for him but now it’s time to show people how good he is.”

Meanwhile, imposing central defender, Michael Agboola, and midfielder Greg Frederick have agreed on new deals with the club.

“I’m happy that I’ve finally found a group of players and coaches that offer me security,” Agboola explained.
