West Ham defender fined by club after cat video appears on social media

THE RSPCA has seized two cats belonging to West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma after a video was circulated on social media.

The French international, who was in the line-up for the Hammers against Watford on Tuesday evening, is said to have been fined “the maximum amount possible” by the club and the fee will be donated to animal welfare charities.

Meanwhile one of West Ham’s sponsors, Vitality, has suspended its deal with the club.

Adidas announced on Tuesday that is has severed its ties with the player.
