West ton the catalyst for Brentwood

Brentwood 226/3 (33.0 overs)
Hutton 199/9 (31.1 overs) (Revised target: 245 from 33.0 overs)
Hutton won the toss and elected to bowl
Brentwood won by 45 runs

High-flying Brentwood won a weather-affected Gooch Division encounter at the Polo Field Ground.

Skipper, Aaron West, led the way with 108 for Brentwood, while Jack Hebron passed 50 as the visitors reached 226/3 from a reduced 33 overs.

The inclement conditions were responsible for Hutton being set a revised target of 245. However, the hosts never looked likely despite a spirited unbeaten 55 from wicketkeeper/batsman, Cameron Tredgett.

Charlie Griffiths impressed with the ball, taking 5/44 as Brentwood turned the screw. They remain second, a single point behind leaders, Wanstead & Snaresbrook.

Points: Brentwood 20 Hutton 5
