Will has the Wright stuff for Daggers

Altrincham 0-1 Dagenham & Redbridge

Dagenham & Redbridge extended their unbeaten Vanarama National League sequence to five matches thanks to Will Wright’s late winner at Moss Lane.

Wright’s dead-ball effort found the top corner eleven minutes from time to earn the Daggers their tenth league victory of eth campaign – putting the boot into Alty’s play-off aspirations in the process.

Earlier, Wright had gone close with a similar effort, while Scott Wilson also went close – Ryan Colclough providing the home sides best moment. Daggers defender, Kenny Clark clearing off the line.

Dagenham & Redbridge return to Vanarama National League action on Tuesday, March 23 when Hartlepool United visit the Chigwell Construction Stadium (7pm).
