Police are investigating an incident at Priory Park cafeteria, Southend, in which a staff member was racially abused.
At 12.50pm on Tuesday November 10, a man and a woman attempted to enter the café without face masks. When asked to wait outside, they began shouting and swearing and the woman pushed a table towards the victim.
The woman was described as white, aged between 30 and 40, and about 5ft 5ins tall. She had long blonde hair and wore a black jacket, skinny dark coloured trousers or jeans, and black boots.
The man was described as white, aged in his 40s, with short hair. He was dressed in dark coloured clothing.
They had a dog with them, which was golden brown or light tanned in colour.
