Witness appeal after assault in Southend

Police are appealing for witnesses to get in touch following an assault in Southend.

It was reported that a man in his 30s was attacked by a group of men inside a premises in Clifftown Road at around 3.15am on Sunday November 28.

He suffered a broken leg.

Police are particularly keen to speak with a taxi driver who drove the victim to hospital.

They would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dashcam footage.

Witnesses should call 101, citing incident 1103 of November 29.
