Witness appeal after man suffers stab wound in Canvey

Police investigating an attempted robbery in Canvey where a man sustained a stab wound are appealing for witnesses and information.

Officers were called to Parklands, off Hilton Road shortly after 10.55pm on Saturday December 2.

A man had suffered a stab wound to his leg after he was approached by two teenagers.

They demanded his wallet and phone, but nothing was taken.

The victim was taken to hospital and his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

One suspect is described as aged around 14, while the other is described as aged around 16 years old.

Both were wearing balaclavas, one was wearing a grey tracksuit and a black bodywarmer, while the other wore a black tracksuit.

Police need any witnesses, or anyone who may have relevant doorbell or dashcam footage, to come forward.
