Woman arrested following burglary at Southend supported living home

A woman has been arrested following a burglary at a supported living home in Southend earlier this month.

Officers were called to the home at Shelley Square at around 8:30am on April 9.

The suspect entered three separate flats pretending to be a nurse and stole items including a laptop, a handbag and a wallet.

On Saturday April 27, officers arrested a 41-year-old woman from Westcliff on suspicion of three counts of burglary dwelling and theft.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and are appealing to anyone who may have any information to contact them quoting incident 42/MR/17692/24.
