Woman injured in Waltham Abbey collision

Police are investigating after a woman was injured during an incident in Badburgham Court, Waltham Abbey, shortly before 1.45am, this morning Saturday 5 June.

Officers were called by colleagues in the ambulance service after car collided with a woman.

The woman sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital for treatment.

A 28-year-old woman from Waltham Abbey has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent, failing to stop and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.

She remains in custody for questioning.

Police would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the incident or has dashcam or Ring doorbell footage of it.
