Officers were contacted at 2.55pm on Tuesday October 26 following a collision between a van and a pedestrian at the junction of Eaton Road and Highlands Boulevard.

Olivia Chesney, aged 76, was taken to hospital where she died.

A statement from her family said: “Olivia was a dearly loved mother, sister, aunt and partner, and a friend to everyone that knew her.”

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dashcam footage which would be useful to call 101, citing incident 702 of October 26.
