It’s going to be another busy weekend for Yellow Sport as we bring you plenty of updates, reports and reaction from around the grounds.
I’ll be at Roots Hall Stadium as Southend United look to record their first Sky Bet League Two victory of the season over a Morecambe side that has shipped twelve goals in their previous two outings.
Rowland Lyons was set to cover the O’s at Walsall this afternoon. However, with that game postponed, our man will be taking in Millwall – who have made an impressive start to their Championship season – against a Brentford team many people fancy for automatic promotion this time around.
Sunday sees a Yellow Sport double-header. First up, I’ll be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to see if the Lilywhites can build on last weeks thrashing of Southampton. Then its a dash east of the capital where West Ham United hope to get off the mark against an ever-impressive Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Look out for team news from the games involving Colchester United and Barrow, while details will be provided on Monday evening from Arsenal’s big game at Anfield.
Good luck to all our regional clubs in action as well as one or two local cricket clubs squeezing the last few weeks out of summer and, of course, Essex CCC, who are in Bow Willis Trophy final action at Lord’s.
Stay safe – Jeevesie
