#YellowSport Matchday…

Yellow Sports matchday coverage begins on Friday evening with a trip to North Essex.

Colchester United have lost their way of late. The U’s are now eight Sky Bet League Two matches without a win, a run which has seen them slip from play-off contenders to fourteenth in the table and rapidly falling.

Visitors, Scunthorpe United have recorded back-to-back victories over Grimsby Town and Port Vale, elevating them eight points clear of the dropzone. Indeed, a win at the JobServe Community Stadium would see the Iron leapfrog the U’s in the table.

On Saturday, look out for team news, updates, report and reaction from Southend United’s League Two clash at Port Vale and Leyton Orient’s trip to Bolton Wanderers, while we will also be keeping an eye on Dagenham & Redbridge’s Vanarama National League encounter with Chesterfield.

From Colchester on Friday, I’ll be heading to East London on Sunday to cover in-form West Ham United’s Premier League clash with champions Liverpool.

The Hammers have won six on the bounce in all competitions, while the Reds returned to winning ways at Spurs on Thursday evening.

All that, plus the Lilywhites Sunday evening trip to Brighton & Hove Albion – Stay safe – Jeevesie x
